An advanced study for Actors looking to take the next step in their careers, our Young Adult Company is a vibrant ensemble allowing for artistic growth & creative expansion each week.
The Art of Transformation is designed to help actors expand their range with clarity and ease.
Working with Beatrice King & Special Guests throughout the term, this class focuses on sharpening responsiveness, impulses, and strengthening the actor's instrument.
Through Scene Study, Breathwork, Movement, Improv, and Embodied Somatic Technique, actors will cultivate presence, adaptability, and trust in their preparation. The Art of Transformation equips actors with the tools to build versatility to strengthen auditions, self-tapes, and on-set work,
Through a focused film studies component, actors will break down transformative screen performances to better understand presence, rhythm, emotional truth, and the choices that make characters unforgettable.
Career mentorship in regards to auditions, the casting process and agents is also included.
SATURDAYS
Dates: May 9th - June 27th ~ 7 classes
Time: 4:00pm - 6:30pm (may extend until 7pm to accommodate additional rehearsal or instruction)
*No class May 16th (May long weekend)
Tuition:
$568 + gst = $596.40
