13-17 YRS
Our acting classes for Teens are designed to give young actors the tools to bring authentic, impactful roles to life for Film & Television!
Beyond the Text is an on-camera class centered on helping young actors develop strong choices, personalize their scenes, and bring greater depth to their work on screen. In this class, young actors will:
- learn how to personalize scenes and connect authentically to the material
- make strong, specific choices with confidence and originality
- explore how to craft nuanced, memorable performances for auditions and on set.
Through in-depth exercises, actors will learn how to move beyond memorization and bring authentic, specific and compelling performances to life for Film & Television.
Each teen will have the opportunity to work with Special Guests & craft scenes selected from Film & Television scripts.
On-camera performances are recorded & sent to each actor to review at home. Career mentorship in regards to auditions, the casting process and agents is also included for our young actors & parents!
SUNDAYS
Dates: September 20th - November 1st ~ 6 classes
Time: 3:30pm - 6:30pm
*No class October 11th (Thanksgiving long weekend)
Tuition:
$560 + gst = $588
*As most of our students train with us year-round, our classes fill very quickly.
